WilkinsonEyre wins at CTBUH Awards
We are excited to announce that 8 Bishopsgate, 21 Moorfields, and Battersea Power Station were awarded as Overall Winners for the CTBUH (Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat) Conference 2024.
8 Bishopsgate: Best Tall Building by Height 200-299m
8 Bishopsgate is a 50-storey commercial office for Mitsubishi Estate London located in the City of London’s ‘cluster’ of tall buildings. The scheme has an extensive provision of amenities throughout the building including a public viewing gallery, The Lookout, at level 50.
21 Moorfields: Structure Award
21 Moorfields is a 17-storey development, designed for Deutsche Bank’s 5,000 core staff, that sits proudly above our new ticket hall for the Elizabeth Line.
Incorporating new pedestrianised streets, squares, walkways and an extended bridge to the Barbican; the development is suspended over a complex train interchange using a steel bridge structure.
Battersea Power Station: Construction Award
The major restoration and repurposing of the iconic Grade II* listed building has become a vibrant new mixed-use destination. The regeneration has respected the integrity of the historic landmark while creating new events spaces, shops, restaurants and cafés, large open-plan office spaces and a series of sky villas positioned around rooftop garden squares above the Boiler House and Turbine Halls.
