Construction Starts Onsite at HKU Pokfield Road Campus

The University of Hong Kong celebrated construction starting onsite with a ground-breaking ceremony.

The development will be constructed in phases: Phase 1 (new academic complex for the HKU Business School and multi-purpose sports complex) is due for completion in 2023, Phase 2 (Scholars’ residence and guesthouse for visiting academics) is due for completion in 2024, and Phase 3 (Academic hub for teaching & learning and conference) is due for completion in 2025.

Once complete, the new Pokfield Campus will provide a state-of-the-art academic complex as the new home for the HKU Business School, upgraded and contemporary sports facilities, a premium residential complex and a university guest house, as well as a teaching and learning hub and conference centre.

Demolition of the existing buildings on site is well underway, soon to be followed by the re-diversion of underground utilities and site formation works.

Sino Singaporean Friendship Park

WilkinsonEyre was part of the winning team led by Grant Associates, for the masterplan of the Sino-Singaporean Friendship Park and the architectural design of the conservatories.

Awarded through design competition, WilkinsonEyre and P&T Group have designed the new Pokfield Road Campus for The University of Hong Kong Business School.
