The campus is envisioned as a multi-faceted and functionally cohesive academic-residential-culture and sports complex comprising five main buildings and green spaces for leisure.
WilkinsonEyre is the Design Architect for the Phase 1 HKU Business School Building, the Facade Designer for the Phase 1 Multi-purpose Sports Complex, and the Design Architect for the Phase 3 Teaching and Learning Complex and Conference Centre.
The new campus facilities include auditoriums, lecture theatres and classrooms, learning commons, catering ourlets, residence for staff and visiting scholars, an indoor swimming pool and an indoor multi-purpose sports complex.
The iconic building and landscaping will improve the streetscape on Pokfulam Road and Pokfield Road junction, enhancing the surrounding neighbourhood. The campus will bring multi-level landscaping such as green podiums and vertical landscaping to create a green environment.
The development will be completed in three phases starting from 2025.
